Discount on broadband connection

Virgin Media’s broadband and phone bundles have increased the discount on its broadband and phone bundles by £1, and extended them to six months.

Like many providers, Virgin Media offers introductory offers that reduce the price of your packages for a set period. Previously this was six months, but now the company's upped it to a full year on its 18 month contracts.

The discount means that the Super Fibre 50Mb and calls package is now £8 for 12 months, and then £19 thereafter. A Vivid 100Mb and calls package will run you £13 a month for 12 months, and £24 thereafter, while the Vivid 200Mb and calls package now costs £21 a month for 12 months, and then £32 a month.

All plans also require you to pay line rental, which costs £17.99 a month, or you can cut the cost if you pay for a year all at once - then the price works out as the equivalent of £15.33 a month.
